Questions such as the title above often arise when motorists attempt to tamper with the car have trouble starter. Machine did not react when the ignition is turned to the ON position. Once checked, the battery (batteries) is fine. Relations and the condition of battery terminals are also good. Starter motor was not problematic. When all these components normalnormal course, do not forget to check the wiring on the starter system. Could be, a tool that serves to conduct electricity is already fragile.
Fragile cables will have different resistance values. The next result, the flow of electricity to the starter motor is inhibited. Automatically, the starter motor does not react when the ignition is turned upside down many times. Very possible given the fragility of these wires in the engine room is often hot. Therefore, the case of fragile wires are common in vehicles five years old and above. Motorists usually overcome this problem by replacing the cables on the starter system.
Of course, this problem with the replacement of the engine starter can be difficult to overcome. If it is proven that the core problem lies in the wiring system of the starter, the engine will be easy to live when the ignition is turned to the ON position. Is this the only way? Not really. Actually, there is a more practical and inexpensive. Namely, by adding a starter relay on the circuit system. How, to prepare wiring and relays.
Remove the starter motor terminal 50 and connect to the relay terminal 85. After that, connect relay terminal 86 to the masses and connect relay terminal 30 with (+) battery. The next step which connects the terminal 87 the relay with the starter motor terminal 50. Technically, an additional relay is able to overcome the hard starter because the electric current that flows will be much greater. The electrical current from the battery straight out toward the magnetic clutch. Due to large currents, the magnetic field generated by the greater magnetic clutch. Large magnetic fields that allow the starter motor to react.

Wondering if anybody can help please? When trying to start my car, there is a really loud clicking noise from the ignition when turned into starter position and won't operate. However, the windscreen wipers work. Is this something I can fix myself or is it a garage repair job? Cheers.
