The test was conducted on the racing-themed event Southerm California Timing Association (SCTA). The new hybrid car is able to record a top speed of 185 mph or about 298km/hour.

According to Jonathan Browning is an official of the company stated that this future car is a compact car models, which combine the concept of speed and fuel-efficient, and environmentally friendly.

2015 VW Jetta Hybrid is equipped with advanced machines with a 1.4-liter TSI four-cylinder combined with a turbocharger to produce 150 horsepower. Modern transmission DSG 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox will make the driver more easily driving this car, while the electric motor can produce 27 horsepower.
